Our 4th Annual Life After High School Conference is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. This year our co-sponsor will be the Compass Project, which provides counseling, career assessment and guidance for individuals with learning disabilities and special needs as they transition to college or the workplace. Our keynote speaker will be Paul B. Yellin, M.D., a member of our Board of Directors, who will speak about How to Help Struggling Students Make a Successful Transition to Adulthood.
